Summer 2010 Fundraising Campaign
Kids & Fishing would like to thank all of our supporters for their generous donations and a successful Summer 2010 Fundraising Campaign.
Thank you for helping us to reach more deserving kids. Most of the hundreds of our participants have removed an average of 400 pounds of trash per child; preventing it from reaching our oceans and beaches.
We have created a new program, "City 2 to the Sea" for 2010 and beyond. City 2 the Sea is bringing a modular science-based lesson plan to bring marine based science into inner-city classrooms. Our goal is a comprehensive science program that supports a classroom curriculum with real on-the-water environmental science experience. We are proud to have QuikSCience be the strong foundation for building an educational program that will ultimately include an on-the-water, interactive learning center where the classroom meets the ocean.
